A Crafter's Diary: 16th - 22nd November 2019

Hello friends!  This week has seen quite a bit of crafting, but mostly concentrated into a couple of projects.  Without further ado...

Spinning Projects
I've done a small amount of plying on my Fairy Queen yarn.  I got distracted by other things along the way this week!

Knitting Projects
This is the project that has been eating up my crafting time this week.  I had a spurt of enthusiasm to work on my green shawl with the intention of getting it done this year!

Sewing Projects
I've started learning a new instrument - the cornet.  I've got a cute, plastic cornet and it came in a very boring bag so I've decided to spruce it up a bit and give the cornet its own shiny new rainbow coloured bag!  All the fabric came out of my stash (win for stash-busting!)

And finally, I was inspired to try my hand at making stitch markers for knitting and crochet.  There are so many cute ones out there, but then I realised that I had some random charms so I thought I'd give it a go.  Unfortunately, while I have plenty of charms, I don't have plenty of appropriately sized things in the appropriate colours to put them on.  Sadly, this meant I've only actually made one stitch marker.  But when I'm able to source the appropriate findings, I hope to make more!

That's all for this week, see you next week!
