This is the Ostarina Shawl. Pretty much everything you need to know about it is over on Ravelry. This is just a great place to post about new patterns!
The Ostarina Shawl was inspired by the Spring Equinox, or Ostara. It plays heavily on the idea of symmetry inspired from the idea of day and night being the same length. Almost like a tipping point. Ostara also makes me think about new growth and the new shoots coming up out of the ground ready to grow and eventually bloom. That's where the colour of my shawl and one of the lace patterns comes from.
